It is with immense sorrow that the family of the late Bartholomew «Bert» Haas announces his tragic passing. Bert passed away suddenly near Brent’s Cove, NL on Thursday, February 4th, 2021 at the age of 55 years.
Predeceased by his father – Bert Haas Sr.; father-in-law – Patrick Joseph Haas; brother – Eugene Haas; sisters – Shirley Matthews, Coretta Haas and Mary Ann Haas; nephew – Colin Matthews and brothers-in-law – Leroy Haas, Jason Haas and Daniel Haas, Walter Haas and friend, Donald Haas.
Left to cherish many wonderful memories is his wife of 28 years – Joanne Haas, Brent’s Cove, NL; children – Brandon Haas (Jenna) and Brandi Payne (Jonathan), both of Fort McMurray, AB; like a second daughter – Katie Sullivan; precious grandchildren – Kolbe, Spencer and Sophie Haas and Lexie and Preston Payne; mother – Ann Haas; mother-in-law – Mary Haas; siblings – Joan Haas, Laura Sullivan (Gord), Marie Matthews (Len), Wayne Haas (Ruby) and Roy Haas (Jackie); siblings-in-law – Des Haas (Shelley), Michelle Regular (Jamie) and Terry Haas (Laura), as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
The Mass of Christian Burial will take place from St. John the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, Brent’s Cove, NL on Friday, August 12, 2022 at 2pm. Interment will follow from St. John the Apostle Roman Catholic Cemetery, Brent’s Cove, NL.
As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Bert’s memory to St. John the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, Brent’s Cove, NL.
