Barbara’s Obituary
BURNS, Barbara Anne – Age 73, of St. Alphonse passed away at home on Sunday, December 25th, 2022. She was born a daughter of the late Raymond and Angie (Maillet) Comeau.
Barbara loved shopping at Frenchy’s with her husband and listening to CIFA. In her early years, she loved to cook and make beautiful quilts
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Paul, St. Alphonse; daughter, Reynelle (Josh) Thibodeau, Calgary, Alberta; brother, Dolphie (Audrey), Salmon River; sister, Annette (Daniel) Comeau, St. Martin; sister-in-law, Kathy Burns, Mount Uniacke.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Ira and Donnie.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Meteghan Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held in St. Alphonse Church on Thursday, January 5th, 2023 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Hospice Akoffodji officiating. Burial will follow in St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery, Salmon River.
Donations in Barbara’s memory may be made to Heart & Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or Canadian Diabetes Association.
