Obituary
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Andie Patton (nee Morgan). Andie will be lovingly remembered by her children Greg, Wade (Marianne) Rhonda (Keith), and Tim. She will be remembered fondly by her much-loved grandchildren Kayla, Natalie, Bryce, and Shawn.
Andie was born and raised on the family farm located in the Springbank Area next to the Elbow River with her nine brothers and sisters. Life on the farm was hard work, but lots of good family memories were generated and Andie developed a lifelong passion for horses.
After leaving the farm, Andie worked for the old Whitespot and Shamrock Restaurants in Calgary where she met her husband, Fred. They were married in October 1956. Andie’s main focus in life was the raising and taking care of her family.
Andie is predeceased by her husband Fred; parents Andrew and Fannie Morgan; and son-in-law Keith Germscheid.
Following Andie’s wishes, a memorial service will be honoured at a later date.
You did everything for us Mom, sleep well.
In lieu of flowers, Andie’s wishes would include donations to The Calgary Poppy Fund, or the Calgary Humane Society.
The family wants to recognize and thank the kind and supportive caregivers and staff of Carewest Sarcee for all of their excellent care for Andie over the years.
