Obituary of Allan Gregory Thomas
It is with great sadness that the family of Allan Gregory Thomas announce his passing which occurred on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, NB. Born in Saint John, NB on February 7, 1964, he was the son of the late Harold and Noreen (Donnelly) Thomas.
Allan had a smile that could light up a room, and was a creative, generous, and sensitive person. He loved his large family and always enjoyed the time he spent with them. Allan loved to sing, dance and to create spoon jewelry as well as had interest in genealogy and travel. He was always willing to help anyone in need and will be dearly missed by those around him.
Allan is survived by his loving husband Ralph Murdie-Thomas of Lakeside, NB; siblings: Wade Thomas (Ann), Kathy Bowland (Tom), Karen Webb (Spence), Vernon Thomas, David Thomas (Barb), Danny Thomas (Mary), Brenda McIllwraith (Keith), John Thomas and John Stevens; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and extended family.
A sincere thank you to Dr. Groome and Allan’s “Army of Angels” at the Saint John Regional Hospital Oncology Department for their excellent care given to Allan and his loved ones during his time there. Also, a special thank you to Dr. Hemmings and the staff of Palliative Care, your kindness and compassion will not be forgotten.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB and will be held privately.
