It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Alice Brown of Marystown announces her passing. Alice passed peacefully away after a courageous battle in surrounded by her family at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre on Thursday, November 3, 2022, at the age of 75.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her daughter, Peggy Hillier (Leonard) of Jean de Baie; sons, Tony Brown (Kerri Ann) of Barrie, ON, Steve Brown (Laurie) of Red Deer, AB, and Eugene Brown (Marlene) of Edmonton, AB; grandchildren, Jessica (Jonathan), Jacqueline (Jeremy), Tyler (Megan), Harrison, Connor, Devon, and Addiah; great-grandchildren, Karsen, Kaiden, Alysa, Clara, Franki and Caelan; sisters, Veronica Dicks of Marystown, Kathleen Murphy of Marystown, Lillian Cheeseman of AB, Theresa Leonard of AB and Ursula Pittman (Eugene) of NS; brothers, Bernard Cheeseman (Danielle) of ON and George Cheeseman (Vera) of NB; sister-in-law, Mercedes Cheeseman of Marystown; brother-in-law, Peter Murphy of Little Bay; plus a large circle of family and friends.
Alice was predeceased by her husband, Patrick Brown; parents, Bernard & Mary Cheeseman; parents-in-law, John & Margaret Brown; sisters, Madonna Cheeseman and Sarah Ellen Murphy; brother, James Cheeseman; brother-in-law, Patrick Murphy; and nephews, Trevor Cheeseman, Craig Dicks and Bill Dicks.
The family would like offer a sincere thank you to the Chemotherapy Unit at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre and her healthcare team.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Marystown on Friday, November 11th, 2022 at 2:00 pm.
