Patriarch of the DeLuca family. The glue that kept our family together, and the pillar of strength.
Alfredo DeLuca – Surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday December 21, 2022 at the Greater Niagara Hospital in his 95th year. Loving and devoted husband of 74 years Innocenza DeLuca (Romeo)Strong and Caring Father to Catherine Carbonnara (The Late Angelo), Jimmy DeLuca(Nina), Adriana Iannazzo (The Late Pasquale) , Dino DeLuca (Caroline) Amazing Nonno to Joseph (Diana), Daniel (Catherine), Peter (Melissa), Alfred, Amanda(Mathew), Angelo Jr, James (Carla), Stephanie, Melissa (Curtis), Christian and Noah. Leaving behind his pride and joys his 13 great grandchildren. Lovingly remembered by his 3 sisters and 2 brothers Alfredo came to Canada in 1952 starting his new life working at Gerbers Baby Food, he worked hard but loved it for 40 years, taking on the role of Union Present. Alfredo was the founder of SS Juventus and was a devoted member of Sons of Italy and Club Italia. He was the writer, creator and producer of Calabrese Night which was enjoyed by many Including the Folklore dance group. He loved to take care of his beautiful garden, entertain and create his own wine. But most of all his real love was his wife of 74 years, his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and his family and friends around the table on any given night. He will always be remember as the jokester, his big smile and his even bigger heart. Alfredo and family would like to thank his PSW’s from Care Partners . Dino, Dennis, Richard and Paula. Friends are invited to join the family at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Friday December 23, 2022 from 10 am to 2 pm. A Funeral Service in celebration of his life will be held at 2 pm at the funeral home, with the Rite of Committal to follow at Fairview Mausoleum. In memory of Alfredo, memorial contributions may be made to Heart Niagara and would be appreciated by his family.
