Abraham Unger, a loving husband, father and grandfather passed away at his home in Dresden on Saturday December 24, 2022. Born in Mexico on July 17, 1978 Abraham was the son of the late Helena and Wilhelm Unger. He is the much loved husband of Katharina (Martens) Unger. He will be missed by his children and grandchildren David (Mason), Susan & Jordan (Levi, Zephaniah, Elijah and Leia), Jessica & Lukas (Theodore and Iyla), Amanda & Nekco, Ajay, Aden, Ava and Vincent.
He will be remembered by his siblings Margaret & Abraham Knelsen, Anna & Peter Wall, Peter & Katherina Unger, Jacob & Margaret Unger, Cornelious & Maria Unger, Ben & Lisa Unger, Isaak Unger and Johann Unger. He was predeceased by his brother Wilhelm in 2022 (survived by Helena).
Abraham was a hard working man who loved fishing, cooking, camping and just being outdoors. He would do anything he could for his family because they were always first in his heart.
Visitation for Abraham will take place at the Blenheim Community Funeral Home on Thursday from 2:00 – 4:00 & 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in Glad Tidings Community Church, 403 Chatham Street South, Blenheim on Friday December 30, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place in Evergreen Cemetery.
