Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that the family of G. Graham Logan, loving husband to the late Elizabeth “Betty” (Marks) Logan, announce his passing on Thursday April 7, 2022 at Carleton Kirk Nursing Home. Born 1934 in Saint John, he was the son of the late Hartley and Janet (Cowen) Logan.
Graham was a lifelong resident of Saint John, NB where he had a long career as a talented carpenter. Following his carpentry days, he felt he wasn’t quite ready to fully retire so he took on a paper route, which he happily fulfilled for 25 years. In his youth he enjoyed sailing; he had a passion for wildlife and was an avid hunter and a long-time member of the Legion.
He will be deeply missed by his children Kim (Debbie) Logan of Welsford, Kathryn McCoy of Grand Bay-Westfield, Arden Logan of Dartmouth, Alison (Bob) Dawson of Pointe-du-Chene, Pam (Mike) Robinson of Saint John and Graham (Trish) Logan of Shubenacadie; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother David (Lois) Logan of Florida as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife Elizabeth B., he was predeceased by his brothers Douglas and Lorne Logan.
The family would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff of Carleton Kirk Nursing Home for the wonderful care given to Graham during his three year stay with you.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road. At his request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private family graveside service will be held in Cedar Hill Ext. Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
