Doris Babin
1941-2022
The sun rose for Doris Babin (née Vézina) on Thursday,
September 25, 1941, in Valleyfield, Quebec, and the sunset on
Saturday, March 26, 2022 in Aroostook, NB following a brief battle
with cancer. She is now reunited with her youngest son Daniel in
heaven forever more.
Left to mourn, her husband of 63 wonderful years, Roger Babin Sr.; her
children, Roger Jr. (Chat) and Steven (Deneen); grandsons Wayne
(Caitlin) and Paul (Ariona); great granddaughters Kyrie , Aerilynne
and Melody; and her most precious Meka. Doris will be deeply missed by
her sister, Michelyne Vézina and sister-in-law, Doris
Wilson.
Doris had so many very special relationships with cousins, nieces,
nephews, and friends, that almost everyone called her Nana or
Mom.
She is predeceased by her beloved son Daniel; her mom, Rezeda
Morrissette; her father Armand Vézina; her brother Réal
Vézina; and her sister Charlotte Pelletier.
Doris met the love of her life, Roger, and together they started their
family in Toronto, Ontario, later moving to Burlington, Stoney Creek
and retiring in Aroostook, New Brunswick which made her so very happy.
Doris loved to crochet, play board games, card games, computer games,
hockey, drink coffee and have a cigarette. As long as family and
friends were around, she was happy and content.
Respecting Doris’ wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral
held.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to your local animal shelter
would be appreciated by the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home,
Perth-Andover, NB.
