Obituary of Aleah Marie Van Erp
It is with the heaviest of hearts that the family of Aleah Marie Van Erp announces her sudden passing on December 22nd, 2022, at the age of 17. She will be missed by her loving parents Jim and Heather Van Erp and her brother Jacob Van Erp. Aleah was the beautiful granddaughter of Jean (late Harry) Van Erp and Dave and Glenda Levac. Special great niece to Colin. Beloved niece to Cathy, Janet, Barb (Mark), Ian (Julie), Kyle (Rebecca) and Taylor (Kristen). She will be fondly remembered by her cousins Nicole, Danielle, Carina, Ashleigh, Kaili, Sydnee, Gryffin, Sadie, and Thomas. She will be missed by many extended family members and friends.
Aleah was full of life. She had a huge heart for animals, caring for and being around them was a true passion, she had plans to become a vet tech in the future. Her fur babies were her everything, her dogs Diamond, Pepper, Harley, and cat Luna will miss her gentle spirit. She loved to be outdoors and explore all things nature, she loved wildflowers, trees and walking amongst the green grass and blue sky. The beach was her happy place, Aleah would sit and watch the waves and collect anything from stones to shells. You could always find Aleah dancing in the kitchen, doing cartwheels in the grass, or showing off her endless flexibility. The moments Aleah captured in her photography, like her, will be remembered and cherished forever.
A Visitation will take place on Wednesday, December 28th from 1:00- 5:00pm at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY, with a funeral service to follow at 6:00pm.
