BECKEDORF, Herbert Adolph
March 8, 1932 — December 18, 2022
Herbert Beckedorf passed away peacefully on December 18, 2022, in Kelowna, BC.
He is survived by his son Kevin; grandchildren Tiffany, Kyle, Annie, and Paul; and great-grandchild Sebastian. He was predeceased by his wife Brigitta; and sons Mark and Ronald.
Herbert was born in Soltau, Germany. He immigrated in 1951, starting off his life in Canada in Osoyoos, BC, and later moving to Calgary, AB where he met his wife Brigitta. Together they raised three boys near Bragg Creek, AB.
After completing his education in Montreal, he became an accountant. Herbert was quiet, hardworking, and funny. An avid lover of the countryside and the forest, he enjoyed long hikes, and horseback riding. He also loved dogs.
Thank you to the staff at Mission Creek Landing for caring for him in his final years.
A private family service will be held.
