Obituary
Carol Elizabeth French, long time resident of Brownvale (AB) passed away on November 28, 2022 in Fairview (AB), at the age of 61.
Carol was born in Fairview (AB) on May 21, 1961. She spent her early years living in Worsley (AB) and attended Worsley Central School, until the third grade. In 1970, the family moved to Hines Creek (AB), Where Carol met the love of her life Allan French, eight years later they were married and moved to Brownvale (AB). In October of 1978, they welcomed their first son Myron. Then, in 1981, they bought a farm just outside of Brownvale. Later in the year, they welcomed their second son Davin. Then, in 1993, they welcomed their third and final son Aaron.
Carol started working at Norman Biggems at a young age, which sparked her love of carpentry/woodwork. She always had a project on the go; from building an entire bed frame to redoing an old dresser.
Around 2000, Carol worked at the Fairview Hospital in the housekeeping department. She would also clean at the Fairview Vet Clinic. She worked many years while raising her three boys.
Carol enjoyed spending time with her family: whether it was going camping, watching her grandchildren play their sports, or spending time with her siblings. She especially loved her sister road trips and movie nights!
Carols life revolved around her family. They were (and still are) the light of her life! She was the type of woman that would never let you walk out the door without a hug and an I love you.
Carol is predeceased by her parents Catherine & Lloyd Bjorklund; her in-laws Ivy & George French; her daughter Lindsay French; and sister Christine Bruyere.
She is survived by husband Allan French; sons Myron (Angie), Davin (Carla), Aaron (Karleen); her grandchildren Madison (Levi), Mason, Denver, Lincoln, Mckenzie and Renner; siblings Audrey, Alvina (Peter), Gail (Bob), Sharon (Alvin), Duane (Shauna), Neil (Terri), Danny, Jamie (Peggy), and many nieces and nephews.
