Obituary
David Laube was born on October 20, 1930 in Holden, Alberta to Adolf and Anna Laube. David grew up on the family farm and took his schooling in West Bruce. On August 13th , 1960 he married his wife Aloisia and during their marriage they loved to travel. Some trips included Yugoslavia and the Columbia Icefields.
David and Aloisia farmed in Holden until 1967 at which time they moved to the city of Edmonton where David worked as a laundry custodian at the Royal Alexandra Hospital. Through the years he rose up the ranks and eventually received the title of manager.
Shortly after he retired, and moved into the lodge in Holden. David spent his golden years and the last three or four years of his in Camrose where he could be close to his family.
He is predeceased by his mother Anna and father Adolf; his brothers Len and Herman; his sister Lillian; his nephew Keith, and his loving wife Aloisia.
He is survived by his stepdaughter Sonja (Reuben); his granddaughters Kathy (Larry) and Laurie; his great-granddaughters Breanne (Spencer), Kylie (Clay) and Julia.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 26, 2022 at the Emanuel Lutheran Church in Bruce, Alberta, with Rev. Greg Kjos officiating.
