Obituary of Alan Louis April
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Alan Louis April on October 19th, 2022, at the age of 59 years at his home in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Jessica; his siblings Gerald, Marc (Shania), Ken (Diane), and Janice; his nieces Tara (Mike), Josée, and Meagan (Ty); his nephew Wayne (Audriana); great-niece Sloane; great-nephews Kade, Ari, Tallon, Kye, Atticus, and Lucah. He will also be dearly missed by many, many friends in Saskatoon, Swan River, Zenon Park, Prince George, and elsewhere.
Alan was born on November 12th, 1962 to Andrew & Dolores April (née Chartier) in Prince George, BC. Throughout his life, Alan owned and worked at various restaurants in communities in Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Alan embraced his ever-present passion for cooking wonderful food and shared that passion with his family, friends, and the communities he served and lived in. He will be remembered for the generosity he showed to everyone in his life; whether that be with his food, his time, or just to lend a hand to someone in need.
At Alan’s request, no service will be held. A family celebration of his life will occur in the future.
