The death of Patrick “Bill” William Maloney of Miramichi, NB, occurred on Thursday, October 20, 2022, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 88. Born in Chatham, NB, he was the son of the late Richard and Lucy (Casey) Maloney. Bill worked around Miramichi area as a carpenter before moving to Hamilton, ON where he worked for many years with the City of Hamilton.
Bill is survived by sister: Mary Lynch of Fredericton, NB; brothers; Edward Maloney, of Barnaby, NB; Martin Maloney (Shirley) of Semiwagan Ridge, NB; Wayne Maloney (Ina) of Prince George, BC.
Besides his parent, Bill is predeceased by brother-in-law: Neil Lynch and sister-in-law: Rita Maloney.
There will be no visitation. A public Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Most Pure Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, Barnaby, NB, on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at 11 AM with Father Anthony Dass Papu officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
