On October 8, 2022, Sharon Gamblin of St. Lina passed away at the age of 67 years. She is survived by her daughter, Pamela (Shawn) Brown; 2 sons, Darin (Tracey) Nelson & Bradley (Carla) Nelson; 12 grandchildren, Colten, Cody, Austin, Morgan, Madison, Tristan, Baley, Levi, Monty, Braedon, Logan & Dylan; 2 brothers, Dan (Rose) Mellersh & Gerry (Barb) Mellersh; numerous family & friends. Sharon was predeceased by her husband, Emmett Gamblin; parents, Roy & Dolly Mellersh; brother, Robert “Spike” Mellersh.
Mom was an incredible woman; she loved her family, her gardening and a good cup of coffee with friends. She had a creative side, both in the kitchen and when in the midst of a project. She was at her best when preparing a feast or when she was planning her flower garden for the season. Happiness filled her heart when she was beside Emmett on the farm. Small in stature but her heart and love for her family and friends was endless in size. Us children and her grandchildren were her world, and she was ours – we will forever miss our long talks, big hugs and guiding light.
The Family is hosting a Celebration of Life on Saturday, November 12 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Lina Hall, St. Lina with Pastor Kelly Sibley officiating. Cremation has taken place.
