Obituary
The family of the late Paul Kluk, beloved husband of Ida Kluk, announce his passing at the Norquay Health Centre, Norquay, SK, on September 10, 2022, at the age of 90 years.
Paul was born to Tom and Mary (nee Brischuk) Kluk on May 15, 1932. He was the second youngest in his family which consisted of five sisters and one brother.
Paul met his love, Ida Keillor, while attending Melmore School. They were married on October 19, 1952, at Malonek Church. Together they were blessed with four children: Ron, Deb, Linda, and Donna.
Paul and Ida lived in various places such as British Columbia and Alberta, but eventually purchased the Keillor homestead, where they resided until their retirement. Over the years, they made an abundance of memories together as they spent time together with their family and enjoyed camping, fishing, and travelling.
Throughout his lifetime, Paul’s occupation consisted of farming, trucking, and driving school bus. His life’s greatest moments included marrying the love of his life, Ida, and raising their four children with her by his side.
He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Paul was predeceased by his parents, Tom and Mary; brother, John Kluk; sisters: Olga (Paul), Jennie (Joe), Minnie (Earl), Ann (Peter), and Emily (Art); son, Ron; and his great grandson, Gage.
He leaves behind his wife of 70 years, Ida; daughters, Deb (Don) Ewachow, Linda (Purnell) Lukey, and Donna (Jack) Cherewyk; daughter-in-law, Debbie; 12 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 8, 2022, from the Chapel of Leson’s Funeral Home, Canora, SK, with Shawna Leson as Certified Celebrant. Private interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery, Pelly, SK. Those wishing to make expressions of sympathy may make donations to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan, as tokens of remembrance, in memory of Paul Kluk.
