With great sadness our family announces the passing of our brother, uncle and great uncle Harvie Bendza, September 7, 2022, at the age of 82.
Harvie is survived by his Brother Peter Bendza (Kasia) nephew David, niece Anastasia Pocha (Kim) nieces Aurora and AnnaBella, niece Amanda Bendza-Kshyk (Wesley) niece Karra and nephew Kingsley Kshyk, sister Millie Chubocha and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Harvie was predeceased by his parents Michael and Anna Bendza, sisters Effie Michalichyn (Stanley), Stella Morakio (Bill), Katie Hankewich (Steve), Mary Bendza (Mike Stefanyk), brothers John Bendza, Nick Bendza, brother-in-law Edward Chubocha, nephews David Morakio, Pat Bendza and Larry Crowe, great nephews Cody Michalichyn and Dallas Costigan.
Funeral Service will be held September 16, 2022, at 10am at the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Church by Calmar AB. Interment to follow at St Peter and St Paul Cemetery, Thorsby AB.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the wonderful staff at Salem Manor Nursing Home in Leduc, AB who cared so much for Harvie during his time there.
Memorial donations can be made in the name of Harvie to the St Peter and St Paul Perpetual Care Fund.
