Chester Leonard Lively
Age of 67 of Beaverbank passed away at home on Friday August 26, 2022
Born in Halifax April, 26 1955 he was the son of the late Maynard & Violet Lively. Chester worked at the Gates of Heaven Cemetery for 19 years and then had to leave for health reasons. He was a caretaker at the Church of the Good Sheperd.
He preferred to spend his time outdoors, he loved fishing and hunting. He enjoyed working on his wood lot with his brother Lorne. He would try anything once and would have the greatest stories to tell afterwards. He was an amazing father then grandfather and will be dearly missed by all. He’s survived by his wife Barbara (Wilson) daughters Patsy (Jeremy) Lively Amherst, Amanda (Luke) Aucoin Eastern Passage. Son Danny Williams (former relationship)
Predeceased by sister Lorraine Hardy. Survived by sisters Lillian Digdon, Stewiacke, Eileen Bowlby Aylesford, Gloria Rafuse Sackville, Rose (Gerald) Eye Fall River. Brothers Lorne (Anita) Lively Beaverbank, Maynard (Penny) Lively Lower Sackville, Keith (Carla) Lively Beaverbank, Kevin Lively Beaverbank. Grandchildren Violet, Ashlynn,Ryland, Colton, Bentley, Dexter, Austin, Kyle, Bradley & Andrew. Several neices and nephews.
Arrangements have been made for cremation at Dartmouth Funeral Home. There will be a graveside service held on September 11, 2022 at 11:30 a.m. and a celebration of life will follow at the Church of the Good Shepherd hall in Beaverbank.
The family would like to thank VON, Palliative Care, and Doctors for all the care he’s received.
