Obituary
Mom was born February 3, 1935, the fourth child of Wendelin and Eugenia Stang at Macklin, SK. She was raised on the family farm east of Macklin with her 11 siblings. Mom graduated from Macklin High School. She received her nursing degree in Humboldt, SK.
She married Ed (Lefty) Prediger on December 30, 1957. They settled in Saskatoon where they started raising 6 children. Moves were made to Lashburn, Marshall, Unity, Macklin and Calgary with mom working as a nurse in each of these places. Even though mom always worked, she was a firm believer in stay-at-home-moms and regretted having had to work full time. In Calgary, she eventually worked at Universal Church Supplies with Dad. They made their final move to Ponoka.
Family was of great importance to Mom. She was a dedicated loving, proud mother, grandma, and great grandma. She had immense love for her parents, siblings and in-laws and was ever so grateful for any time she was able to spend with them. Mom was a good daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She made everyone who met her feel special.
Mom lived a full and vibrant life. She had unwavering faith and treasured the little things in life and nature. Mom was passionate about family, nature, music and her ancestry among many other things. She loved to get us all together to make sauerkraut, sauerkraut strudel and noodles and when she made grebel, she would invite all our friends for the feast.
Mom will be forever loved and missed by her children Denise (Garry) Warrington, son-n-law Howard Lybacki, Mike (Glenna) Prediger, Pat Prediger, Joanne Prediger, and Suzanne (Reg) Burridge; 9 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; as well as her brothers and sisters, in-laws and many friends.
She was predeceased by her husband Ed (Lefty); her daughter Deanna; her infant grandchild Joshua; her parents; her sister Barbara; and other beloved family members.
We will never forget our very own Energizer Bunny. Unfortunately even energizer bunnies wear out.
OOH AAH Mom! Wir liebe dich!
