Lee Anne Fisher (née Turner)
January 17, 1959- August 5, 2022
Anne passed away suddenly with her loving husband by her side on August 5, 2022, at the young age of 63. There are no words to express the shock and heartbreak we feel as we grieve the loss of a one-of-a-kind lady.
Anne is survived by her loving husband and best friend of 16 years, Allan Fisher.
Anne was a loving mother to Brad (Rachel) and Caitlyn Rogers, and a kind and supportive stepmom to Hayley (John) Harlock and Troy Fisher. Anne was a proud, loving, and fun grandmother to Kieran, Sophie and Elliot Harlock, who will miss her dearly.
Anne is survived by her devoted and loving mother, Mary (Murray) Turner. Anne will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by her siblings, Sherry (Gerald) Pringle, Cathy Wark, Patti (Roger) Piett and Bill (Angela) Turner. She will also be greatly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Anne was predeceased by her father, Mac Turner.
Anne was a loyal friend who will be remembered and missed by her many lifelong friends.
Anne was full of endless energy and will always be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and her willingness to lend a hand. She enjoyed volunteering and giving back to the St. Agatha community, where she lived for more than 30 years before moving to Goderich in the Summer of 2021. Anne was awarded Citizen of the Year in 2017 for her ongoing contributions and dedication to her community.
Anne was larger than life and had an infectious laugh that could fill a room. She was a doer who got things done. She had a passion for music, gardening, and spending time at the beach with her husband. Anne was creative and had a sense of style like no other.
Anne had a positive outlook on life, and always had a smile and kind words for all. To say that she was full of life is an understatement. Whether it was shopping, a road trip, or a weekend away with her girlfriends, hosting karaoke at Kennedy’s, or dancing and singing (forever changing the lyrics) in her kitchen, Anne was always ready for a good time. She will be remembered and missed by those who knew her.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place on Wednesday August 17th from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Falconer Funeral Homes – Bluewater Chapel, 201 Suncoast Drive, East, Goderich. A celebration of Anne’s life will be planned for the Fall, more information to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Anne’s memory to McMaster Children’s Hospital (www.hamiltonhealthsciences.ca/mcmaster-childrens-hospital/) would be appreciated by the family.
