it is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brenda Moriarity (nee Kenny) on August 5, 2022 at the age of 65 years.
Predeceased by her loving father Austin P. Kenny as well as her mother-in-law, Frances and Mike Moriarity and Kenny family.
Left with a life time of wonderful and precious memories are her husband and best friend of 43 years, Mickey, her children; Michael (Leann), Colin (Nancy), Frances (Matt) and Brandon, her 7 grandchildren that all made her beam with pride, Lily, McKinlee, Emma, Ivory, Violet, Maddox and Nixon, her beautiful and caring mother Anita Kenny, sisters Paula (Gus), Sharon, Renee (Leonard), Denise (John), Michelle (Gerald), Steph (Dave), Wynne-Anne and her little brother, Austin (Wendy), her sisters-in-law Jean (Ken), Theresa, brothers-in-law, Cyril (Yvonne), KeKieran (Rochelle), Vince (Hilda), Shawn (Colleen), Johnny n(Jackie), Todd (Cindy), nieces and nephews and many special friends and extended family that are too numerous to mention but we take comfort in knowing that you all know who you are and what you mean to us.
Special thanks to mom’s caregiver and best friend, Gail Bartlett, to Dr. Jones, Dr. Rorke, Dr. Drodge, Dr. Edwards and all the cancer care team at the Health Science Centre.
A special mention to her coworkers turned friends over the years during her lifetime career with the Department of Fisheries and Oceans.
To anyone that has ever sent a prayer of good intention our way, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to The Angel Fund or the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre.
More than anything, in her memory, do one good thing for somebody and watch the ripple effect that makes in the world.
Resting at Broughton,s Funeral Home, Brigus with visitation on Sunday, August 7, 2022 from 3-9 P.M., Monday, August 8, 2022 from 10:00 A.M.- 9 P.M.
Funeral to take place on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. from Our Lady of The Snows Church, Marysvale with interment to follow in the R.C, Cemetery, Brigus.
