Jean-Marie Richard
1946-2022
SAINT-IGNACE, NB – Jean-Marie Richard, 75, passed
away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family on Thursday,
July 21st, 2022. He was the beloved husband of
Andréa Richard (née Robichaud). Born in
Cap-Lumière, he was the son of the late Freddy and
Céline (Richard) Richard.
Besides his wife, Andréa, Jean-Marie leaves to
mourn his two sons, Serge (Ginette) of Rogersville and Mario (Anita)
of Saint-Ignace; as well as his six grandchildren, Chloé,
Maxine, Justin (Josée), Marc, Samuel (Kayla) and Julie-Pier
and his great-grandson, Colton.
Jean-Marie will also be sadly missed by his sister, Simonne
Girouard (Guy) of Burlington, Massachusetts; his two brothers, Bernard
(Jeannette) and Roméo (Jeanne), both of
Cap-Lumière; his sister-in-law,
Thérèse (late Rhéal) of
Sainte-Anne-de-Kent; as well as by his many nieces and
nephews.
Besides his parents, Jean-Marie was predeceased by his two
sisters, Rose-Marie and Nicole and two brothers, Adrien and
Rhéal.
Visitation will be held at Thompson Memorial Home,
Saint-Louis-de-Kent, on Thursday, July 28th,
2022 from 7-9 pm and Friday, July 29th, 2022
from 9:00 am until departure for the funeral. A funeral mass will be
celebrated on Friday, July 29th, 2022 at 11:00
am, Saint-Ignace-de-Loyola Roman Catholic Church,
Saint-Ignace.
The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to
Dr. Lise Langis and all of the extra mural nurses for the excellent
care provided to Jean-Marie during the last few weeks.
If so desired, donations to the Dr.-Léon-Richard
Oncologie Centre or to the Saint-Ignace-de-Loyola Parish would be
appreciated by the family.
