It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Brad Suchan on Wednesday, July 13th, 2022. Brad was predeceased by his mother Ella Suchan and leaves behind to mourn his father Lorne Suchan, sister Stephanie Suchan, brother in-law Drew Rowe, nephews Sullivan and Finn Rowe, cousins Lisa Rosier and family, Greg Suchan and family, Uncle Ray and Aunt Joan Suchan and many more cousins, uncles and aunts.

Brad was born on April 11th, 1979 in Toronto and moved to Regina in 1990. Brad was an avid sports fan, no matter the league or sport and loved to play hockey in his younger years. When Brad was diagnosed with his illness and eventually unable to play sports, he took up poker and loved to travel to watch his cousins Eric, Stephen, Scott and Julia play hockey, basketball, softball and baseball in Calgary. Brad would travel to Calgary every year to stay with his Calgary family. He enjoyed time playing with the kids and watch them grow and excel in their chosen sports.
Brad was a passionate collector of sports memorabilia, including jerseys, championship rings, sneakers, sports cards and hats – many of which will be shared among his family as per his wishes. Brad attended Calgary Flames, Blue Jays or any sports team whenever possible when he was able to travel. He attended the Grey Cup in 1989 in Toronto and the 1995 Grey Cup in Regina. In April 2018, we attended the Toronto Raptors game where he met DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry.
Brad was an extraordinary son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend and will be dearly missed by all. Brad will be cremated and a private family interment will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Ataxia Canada lacaf.org
