Macmillan, Margaret Marion (nee Steele) … born on August 16th, 1925 has passed away peacefully at the Burnbrae Gardens
Nursing Home on July 4th, 2022 at the age of 96 years. Margaret is predeceased by her husband Hector L. Macmillan
who passed away in January of 1990. Margaret will be forever remembered by her daughter Jillian Koplowitz and her husband
Herb. Predeceased by her daughter Sandra Studholme and son Hector R. Macmillan (Sandra Macmillan). Dear Granny to Melissa Smeets (Keisuke Kubo), Jason Smeets (Tina Smeets), Jesse Koplowitz (Mara Koplowitz), Holly White, Jeffrey White (Jen White), Lee-Ann Argueta (Gabriel Argueta), Adam Macmillan, Mindy Macmillan (Michael Wilson) and Peter Macmillan (Jen Macmillan). Great grandmother to Zoe, Jessica, Halie, Ivory Margaret, Juno, Perrin, Ainsley, Kyler, Wesley, Joshua, Mya, Jillian, Nathaniel, another Nathanial and Lena.
Margaret is a graduate of Ontario College of Art and Design, University of Toronto and Trent University. She is highly
respected as an artist in the abstract impressionist style. Check out this video to enjoy her descriptions of some of her works

The family will receive friends at the WEAVER – Life Centre, 77 Second St., Campbellford on Sunday July 10th from 1-2 PM.
A Celebration of Margaret’s Life will follow at 2 PM in the chapel. If desired, memorial contributions can be made in Margaret’s
memory to the Ah! Arts and Heritage Centre ahcentre.ca and/or the Campbellford Memorial Hospital Foundation givetocmh.ca.
The family would like to sincerely thank the staff of Burnbrae Gardens who demonstrated loving care in everything they did
for Margaret.
