Florence Christina (Swan) Henry
1935-2022
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Florence C.
(Swan) Henry on June 24, 2022 at Hospice House Fredericton. She was
born on August 30, 1935 at Harvey, York Co., NB, a daughter of the
late James and Kathleen (Bell) Swan.
Florence is survived by her sister Margaret Crozier; her children,
Terry Henry (Joyce) (nee Donnelly), Carolyn Gallagher (Jerry), Anna
Weeks (Richard), Janet LaKing (Eldon), Joyce Henry and Stephen Henry;
seven grandchildren, Michael Gallagher (Sarah), Crystal Duplisea
(Keith), Shannon Grieve (Dave), Chris LaKing (Nicole), Sarah Weeks,
Josh LaKing (Vanessa) and Nathan Henry (Ashley); nine great
grandchildren, Hayden McKinley, Emma Gallagher, Alyssa Duplisea,
Makella Gallagher, Molly Grieve, Brielle LaKing, Hazen Henry, Foster
Henry and Waylynn Henry; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Henry; her parents and a
brother Alex Swan.
Although there will be no visitation, friends are welcome to attend a
funeral service at Swan Funeral Chapel, 1826 Route 3, Harvey Station,
NB on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at 2 pm with Rev. Roger Cole and Rev.
Weldon LaKing officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Grove
Cemetery, Route 635 Magaguadavic, NB.
For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Florence, the
family has suggested Hospice Fredericton or Pine Grove Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff of Hospice House Fredericton,
the staff of DECH 3 Southwest and a special thank you to
granddaughter-in-law Sarah. We are forever grateful.
