Obituary of Mary Helen Lorraine George
Mary Ellen Lorraine George passed peacefully away at the Palliative Care, Carmelite House in Grand Falls Windsor on June 4, 2022.
She was 77 years of age.
Mary was born on September 11, 1944 to Cecil and Mabel Barrett of Millertown Junction. On May 6, 1963 she married the love of her life, Hubert George and together they raised five daughters Karen, Sandra, Shirley, Roxanne and Eileen whom she loved dearly. Mary spent all her time being a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She was predeceased by her parents Cecil and Mabel Barrett; sisters Ada (William), Beatrice, Hilda (Fred), Lillian (Harvey); brothers Cecil, Ralph (Jean), Alex and step-brother Roy.
She leaves to mourn her husband, Hubert George; children Karen (Watson), Sandra (Andy), Shirley (Kevin), Roxanne (Ross), Eileen (Darren). Her seven grandchildren Watson Jr. (Victoria), Mark, Andrew, Mackenzie, Christopher, Riley, Mallory and two great grandchildren Thea and Jax. Brother Cyril (late Kathleen); two sisters in law Rosie Pennell, Patsy Barrett; brother-in-law Jim Greene and a large circle of other relatives and friends.
