MAURO, Lina (Venneri)
Peacefully at home with her family by her side on Monday, May 9, 2022 in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late Frank Mauro (2001). Loving mother of Mario Mauro (MaryLynne Taylor), Loretta Mauro, and Teresa Mauro-Palmer (Doug Strutt). Cherished Nanny of Jessica Mauro, Alyssa Bertrand (Angelo), Cody Bertrand (Emily) and Austin Palmer, and Great Nanna of Alexander. Dear sister of Pietro Venneri (the late Antonietta), Ada Colacci (the late Frank) and the late Rosina Vizza (Nardo) surviving. Lina will be sadly missed by her brother-in-laws, sister in laws, her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Francesco Venneri and Maria (Berardi). The Mauro family would like to thank Dr. Blake, Dr. McMillan-Jones, the staff at the Gain Clinic/Dr Hobbs, special thanks to Deb and the VON Day Program Staff, and all PSW’s who took great care of mom. Friends will be received at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough on Thursday, May 12, 2022 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 PM. and Friday from 9:00-10:00 AM. Funeral Mass will be held at OUR LADY OF THE ASSUMPTION ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH 1830 Keene Rd., Friday, May 13, 2022 at 11:00 AM. Entombment Rosemount Memorial Gardens.
