Myrna Rode
On April 30, 2022 Myrna Rode of Wetaskiwin, passed away suddenly at the age of 80 years.
Myrna was raised and schooled in the Homeglen / Lonesome Pine area and has made her home in the Wetaskiwin and Millet area for most of her adult life. She is survived by her loving family; daughter, Shirley-Ann Hardie (Mike Eldridge) and son, Don (Pum) Hardie; grandchildren, Amanda (Shaun) Paradis and Jessica Hardie Eldridge; great-grandchildren, Braden and Lathaniel Weiss; siblings, Alfred Rode (Glenda), Dave (Linda) Christie, Gary (Susan) Rode, Claire (Kevin) Riddiough and Ruth (Brian) Magas. Myrna was predeceased by her granddaughter, Andrea Renner and by her parents, Reinhold and Helen.
She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Details regarding a memorial service honouring Myrna’s life will be announced once confirmed.
In Myrna’s memory, donations are gratefully accepted to Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute at the University of Alberta Hospital.
