Obituary of Peter Giesbrecht
Peter Giesbrecht, son of George & Elizabeth Giesbrecht passed away at the age of 68, at home surrounded by his family on May 1, 2022, as he had wished. We are saddened by his absence, but glad knowing he is at peace with the Lord and will one day see him again.
He leaves behind his Wife Katharina Giesbrecht, a son Rudy Giesbrecht and daughter Rumy Doerksen. Also, a daughter-in-law Linda Giesbrecht and son-in-law Isaak Doerksen. And three wonderful grandchildren, Sophia Doerksen, Logan Doerksen and step-grandchild Jeffery Bergen. He also leaves behind four brothers with their families, two in Canada and two in Bolivia and all his friends.
John 16: 22 Therefore you to have grief now; but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you.
The funeral service for Peter will be held on Friday, May 6, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at the New Bothwell Sommerfeld Church, New Bothwell, MB., followed by the interment at the church cemetery.
