It is with great sadness that Bob passed away at Royal Jubilee Hospital at the age of 89.
He was predeceased by his parents, Stuart and Louise Smith, sister Vada Scott and nephew Warren, brothers Gordon and Roy, sister-and-brother-in-law Shirley and Max Veinot and nephew Ian, brother-in-law Bruce Gates and best-friend John Ludlow.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Edith Cavell, of 67-years; sister-in-law Jean Smith and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
A memorial service will be held to honour Bob’s life at the Friendship Community Church , 7820 Central Saanich Rd., Saanichton, BC at an upcoming date.
