Zachary John Mitchell of Pincher Creek, AB, beloved Son of Jaime and Scott Mitchell passed away suddenly on January 19, 2021 at the age of age 17 years.
Besides his loving parents, Zachary is connected forever to his brother Braden James Mitchell, his grandparents, Darla and Jim Geauvreau of Airdrie AB, Bonnie Love (Predeceased George Love) of Pincher Creek AB. John Mitchell (Predeceased Jane Mitchell) of Costa Rica. He will be greatly missed by his 4 aunts Carolyn Bailey of Calgary AB, Billie-Jean Hiebert (Donovan) of Aidrie AB, Jodi Brunskill of Cache Creek BC. Barbra Geauvreau (Dave) of Elliot Lake ON. Cousins-Alyssa and Shayn Bailey, Kamber (Chris) Sora Corbin Littlewood, Tamara and Vayda Grieve and Taylor (Jeremy) Astrid Grieve, Hailey (Connor) Sauve, Kaylee and Alisha Brunskill. As well as a very extended family and too many friends to count.
Zachary was born in Brooks AB then moved to his home of Pincher Creek at the age of two where he attended St Michaels at the age of three and continued until his senior year. He was blessed to grow up with his « boys » from that very first preschool class until his current year. Filling many free hours gaming with them. Always making new friends along the way and finding a special brotherhood with cadets he was able to achieve many accomplishments such as the Legion Medal of Excellence. Zack was eager to challenge himself to grow and learn. He developed many skills and a strong work ethic by helping his father at the welding shop. Being a teenager, he took those skills to his first job at McDonald’s, where special bonds with coworkers were made.
Zach will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Those who wish, memorial donations may be made to 2309 Fort Macleod Army Cadets or the 2021 Grad class of St. Michaels Pincher Creek, AB
