Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we the family announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Wynnanne McDonald on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at the age of 64 years.
Predeceased by her parents: Dennis and Elanor Tobin; her husband Derm (2017) and her sisters: Phyllis Wickham and Joan Davis.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Nick, Christine (Colin) Piercey and Stephanie (Josh) Besaw; grandchildren: Noelle, Alexander and Kenneth McDonald and their mother Suzanne Skinner, Rebecca -Lynn Piercey and Lexi Besaw; sisters: Anna, Geraldine and Barbara; Brother-in-law: Wayne and Keith (Jean); sisters-in-law: Kay (Ronnie), Maureen (Bill), Mary (Paul), and Cindy (John), nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The McDonald family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the doctors and staff of the Dialysis Unit of Mt. Pearl Square for their continuous compassion and care Your kindness will always be remembered.
At Wynnanne’s request cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home 73 Commonwealth Ave. on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 -9:00 pm Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at 9:30 am from Barrett’s Mt. Pearl Chapel. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
As per government of NL regulation, proof of vaccination is required to attend Visitation and Funeral Service.
As expressions of sympathy donations may be made in Wynnanne’s memory to The Ronald McDonald House.
