DANTUMA, Wubiena “Bieny” (nee Boekema)
Peacefully at Shalom Manor, Grimsby on Thursday, November 25, 2021, the LORD, at His appointed time, promoted into glory Bieny Dantuma in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Hessel Dantuma for 60 years. Loved mother of Rob and Lisa, Ellen and Ed Hekert, Ed and Jackie, and Fred and Marg. Dear Oma of Mel and Ryan, Krista, Nicole and Jonathan, Rebecca and Reuben, Erica and Josh, Colin†and Sarah, Trevor and Vanessa, Lindsay and Mark, Robin and John, Kayley and Gerben, Nick and Ashley, Cameron, Jasmine, Andrew and great-grandchildren Liam, Declan, McKenna, Caleb, Clarissa, Jaxon, Brianna, Azlynne, Jordan, Avery, Kaden, Bentley, Abigail, Kyra, Sasha, Tori, Hailey, Sophie, Erin, Claire, Emily, Leanne, Isaac, Gideon, Elias, Anya, Sydney, Reese, Danae, Peyton, Carter, Thomas, Emma, Nolan, Azaiah, Darcy, Jack, Maeve, Reid.
Dear sister of Janny Boekema and Metty (Bert) Wierenga and will be missed by her nieces and nephews, Klaas Johan (Andrea), Peter (Marijke), Metta (John), Rogier†, and Paulus, all in the Netherlands. Predeceased by her sister Gé Boekema and her grandson Colin Hekert.
Friends may visit with the family at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown on Monday from 7-9 p.m. Private Interment Service at Burlington Memorial Gardens. A Memorial Service will be held at COVENANT CANADIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 480 Woolverton Road, Grimsby on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at 11 a.m., Rev. Rolf DenHollander officiating.
