Passed away with family by his side at Golden Plough Lodge, Cobourg on Thursday April 1, 2021. William ‘Sonny’ Wamboldt beloved husband of Laraine (Dolley). Dear father of Garth (Theresa Kapuscinski) and Barry (Laura Chapman). Cherished Grandfather to Bradley (Sarah), Amy (Peter), Taylor, Madison and the late Riley Wamboldt.Brother of Marilyn Halliday, Garry (Susan), Wanda Lambier (Marshal), Brenda Rice (Terry), Shelly Rice During (Vic), Carl Rice and the late Malcolm (Audrey), Jack (Vera), Victor, Walter, Darrell, Marylea and Kathy (Wayne). Brother in-law to Kathryn Mckeen (Lloyd), Georgina Paterson (Richard) and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Allison Funeral Home, 103 Mill Street North, Port Hope on Monday April 5th, 2021 from 2-4 and 6-8pm. Private family funeral service will be held at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, 131 Walton Street, Port Hope, Tuesday at 11am. Interment, Port Hope Union Cemetery. Due to Covid-19 Restrictions, those wishing to attend the visitation are required to call and register for a reserved time with the funeral home between 8am and 4pm at 905-885-5611.
