William “Bill” Turvill, (Mr. T) of Kincardine passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, with his daughters holding his hands at Victoria Hospital, London, ON.
Following a short illness, Bill died at the age of 84. He is sadly missed by his son Bill Jr. and daughter-in-law Nancy, daughter Gwenna, daughter Janice and son-in-law Randy.
Loved and missed by his grandchildren Jenny (Mike), Blake, Liz (Luke), Claire (Matt), Rebecca, Sawyer and Molly (Dylan) and great grandsons Landon & Leo (predeceased).
Predeceased by his parents, William Wilfred Turvill Sr. and Muriel Kathleen Turvill (née Harvey).
Bill was an exceptional card player, a pretty good golfer, a loyal Probus member and a wonderful friend to many. Principal of RDSS, RDS and KDSS, a police commissioner for the town of Kincardine, teacher of ESL and a counsellor, Bill had colourful careers. He was a devout member of the Knox Presbyterian Church.
Special thanks to the staff of The Village of Glendale Crossing, London, ON (especially the Glanworth neighbourhood) for their care and compassion during his final few months.

A visitation will be held starting at 2:00p.m. on Sunday, June 27th. Funeral service will be held at the Davey Linklater Funeral Home on Monday, June 28th, 2021, please contact the funeral home if you would like to book a spot for the visitation or service.
Interment Kincardine cemetery following the service.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the William Turvill Scholastic Achievement Award which supports one student each year at Ripley Huron Community School (Please make cheques payable to the Bluewater District School Board) or a charity of your choice, as expressions of sympathy or plant a tree in his memory.
