Wilfred « Wilf » Cadieux, born in Greenfield ON (Glengarry County), sadly passed away on December 25, 2021 surrounded by his family at the age of 84. Beloved husband of Claire Cadieux (nee MacDonell) for 59 years. Cherished father of Cathy and Kevin (Karen) and proud grandfather of Mary (Darcy), Michael, Lauren and Megan. Wilf loved travelling, fishing and Scottish music. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and many friends. Wilf was a strong man with a big soft heart who will be greatly missed. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff and community at Creek Way Village Long-Term Care Home for their amazing care and compassion. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, 196 Kenwood Avenue, Burlington on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at 11 a.m. A celebration of life will occur at a later date. Memorial donations, if desired, may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. In accordance with provincial regulations, please RSVP in advance at www.smithsfh.com.
