WILD, John “Bud” Richard
1933 – 2021
It is with deep sadness that the family announce the passing of John (Bud) Wild on April 28, 2021, at the age of 88 years. Bud was born in Edmonton, AB to Frank and Etta Wild. In 1954, he married Marjorie and together they built their family. They started life in the large brick house in the Winterburn area and soon moved to their own acreage a few miles away. Here they raised their family. Upon retiring they moved into Spruce Grove, where they live today. Bud worked for Gulf Oil for 38 years and retired at the age of 55. Together, mom and dad spent many winters in the Mesa AZ area enjoying the weather and many great friends. Over the years Bud was involved in many different organizations, such as; Scouts Canada, Spruce Grove Agriculture Society and the Old Timers association, out of Edmonton. Bud was active in all types of sports notably playing Softball and then coaching ladies fastball.
Bud will be remembered by Margie, his wife of 67 years, sons: David (Wendy), Terry (Heidi) and Paul (Debbie), daughter Judy (Robert), grandchildren: Kimberly, Danielle, Jason, Marie, Ross, Rod, Scott, Danny, Steven, Christine, Michelle, great grandchildren: Levi, Liam, Carter, Avery, Hayden, Vaughn, Ainsley, Shyann, Taeya, Addison, London, Raley, Kennedy, Addie, Alice, Leo, Sydney, Norah and Maxwell. Dad also leaves a close family Friend Jody and her family, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends
