Obituary of Wilbur Leonard Ferguson
Wilbur Leonard « Len » Ferguson, born December 2, 1938 in Tofield, Alberta; he passed away peacefully on June 6, 2021 at the age of 82.
Len was an incredibly loving Father, Papa, Brother, Uncle and Friend, he will be deeply missed.
Ever the tinkerer, he had a passion for fixing most anything, he always found a way to get the job done.
He had a great love for gardening, fishing, camping, birds, baseball and most of all his family and the Lord.
Though he wasn’t often a man of many words, he spoke from his heart when he did.
His unmatched sense of humor, strength, wisdom and determination will live on for years to come in those that knew him.
Len leaves to mourn: son Leonard (Sandy); daughters Debbie (Len) and Angela (Lloyd); grandchildren Jenny (Chad), Kristin (Doug), Amanda (Chris), Jen (Casey), Ryan (Courtney), Tim (Em), Brandi (Kyle), Kayla (Stewart), Brylen, Scarlet (Mike); and 15 great-grandchildren; His sister Ellen Hoflin as well as his brother-in-law Eldon Hoflin (Ethel); sisters-in-law Ruth Ferguson and Christine Ferguson; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 56 and a half years, Dorothy; his parents Russell and Eliza (Mabel) Ferguson; and brothers Willard and Clifford Ferguson.
Due to the pandemic restrictions a private family memorial service will be held.
