Carolyn Ann Whynot, mother, nanny, and great-nanny, passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at the age of 67.
Born in Liverpool, N.S., Carolyn was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Cinderella Sinclair.
Carolyn was most passionate about spending time with her family and friends. She was devoted to her family and was a very laid back, easy going woman who would do anything in her power to help another person. Carolyn had a vivacious and tenacious personality with a side of stubbornness and always made people around her laugh. She loved to love, doing so fiercely, and was known by many within the community as “Mama”, loved by all who came to know her.
Carolyn was the glue that held our family together and they meant everything to her with an extra special place in her heart for Bobbi-Joe and Eugene. She devoted her entire life to their care and well-being, continuously putting their needs well above her own. Her unwavering commitment to them allowed her to keep Bobbi-Joe and Eugene at home for as long as possible before moving to their forever home where they continue to receive the level of care that made her heart happy.
Carolyn will forever be remembered by her husband of 51 years, Eugene Sr. (Hub) and children Jackie (Danny) of South Brookfield, Tricia (Matthew) of Voglers Cove, Bobbi-Joe of Waterville, and Eugene Jr. Of Liverpool; grandchildren Sabrina, Hubert, Ariel, Madison, Dylan, and Brady; and great grand-daughter Adarah. Carolyn will also be missed by her brothers Larry (Sharon), Foncie, Paul (Shelley), David, Dale (Rosalind), and Arthur.
Besides her parents, Carolyn was predeceased by a son in infancy, brother Peter, and sister, Donalda.
