Wendy’s Obituary
Wendy Lynne Gusa (Deyell) began her turn on Earth at Oxbow, Sk. on November 5, 1948. Her earthly mission concluded at Moose Jaw, Sk. on April 3, 2021. Wendy will always be remembered as a wonderful wife, the loving mother of two, the proud grandmother of six, and at the time of her passing over, a very proud great grandmother of Capri Czech. Wendy was predeceased by her goodly parents Bud (William) and Lorna Deyell (Young), sisters Terry Foster and Peggy and husband Marcel Godenir. She will be sadly missed by her husband of 10 years, Robert; her brother-in-law Garry, her children, and grandchildren: Rhonie (Wally), Chase (Breanne), Nate, Hunter Czech of Lethbridge; Heidi (Jason) Taylor, Jessica, Bradley of Calgary. Her stepchildren and step-grandchildren from Robert: Bobbi (Scott), Sierra, Katie LaLumiere of Courtenay, BC; David (Shelley) of Phoenix, AZ; Devin Eden, Kaden, Karver; Steven; Douglas (Trish) Gage, Emily; Matthew (Holly), Mikayla all of Moose Jaw. Her stepchildren and step-grandchildren from Marcel: Victor, Jason (Jo-Ann), Anderson, Ella; Nathan; Veronica (Richard); Rick (Solange), Sasha (Reg), Kade, Veda, Dior; Kali (Matthew), Dax, Van, Wit Eddy; Jasmin (Lindsay), Reyo, Indy Nowasad; Michael, Cyrus, Hannah; Gene (deceased) Jerry, Rebecca, Lysondra (Neil), Owen, Lola; Johan (Lexi), Olivia and Logan; Jaret (Deneene), Abi, Cam Ruehs. She loved and respected all those who she met on her life’s journey. She will be missed by all who knew her. « I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all of them also that love his appearing. (2 Tim. 4:7-8). » Wendy completed business school. She began her working career as a secretary at the SaskTel Office in Swift Current. She worked several retail jobs in Medicine Hat. Wendy was a special needs caregiver for James Marples for many years. Wendy loved working with people. A private Memorialization will take place at Saamis Prairie View Cemetery, Medicine Hat, AB on Saturday May 1st. In lieu of flowers, donations in Wendy’s name may be made to the Moose Jaw and District Food Bank, 305 Fairford St. W. Moose Jaw, S6H 1V8.
