Peacefully, at her home, surrounded by her family, on Friday, April 16, 2021. Anne Waterman, age 63 of Bancroft, was the beloved wife and best friend of Paul Waterman. Loving mother of Matthew (Alyssa), Sean (Candace) and Adam. Loved grandmother of Kate, Leighton and Isla. Sister of David (Grace) Moreland and John (Anne Tucker) Moreland. Sister-in-law of Scott (Bridie) Waterman, Andrea (Douglas) Emerson and Barbara Waterman. Predeceased by her parents John and Shirley Moreland. Dearly loved by her mother-in-law and father in-law Marg and John and her many nieces and nephews. Anne was very active in the Bancroft Curling Club and was instrumental in the organization and running of the Little Rockers program for several seasons. She was a tireless volunteer in the community and loved travelling, reading, gardening, and sewing and she adored her granddaughters. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private family visitation and service will take place. Cremation will follow with interment at Fraserville Cemetery, at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Hospice North Hastings, and The Canadian Cancer Society – Relay for Life would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to M.G.
