Warren Allison Robinson Sr. of Coles island, NB passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Saturday March 13, 2021. He succumbed to his battle with lung cancer.
Warren was born and grew up in Chipman NB. He moved to Coles Island after he met his future wife Vanda working at the Box Factory. Warren was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved spending time outdoors and was always up for an afternoon of fishing in his favorite brooks for trout. He loved a good joke and always found humour in any situation.
Warren was a big kid at heart, this was evident in the time he spent with his children and numerous nieces and nephews. He was always up for a game of baseball or taking us swimming or fishing with him. He had a great love of animals and always enjoyed seeing the local wildlife around his home.
He is predeceased by his son, Warren Robinson Jr, his parents: Edwin and Beatrice (Allen) Robinson; his mother and father-in-law : Lloyd and Bernice (Keirstead) Slocum; his brother-in- law Leo Goguen, his sister Mildred Robinson and by his newphew: Stephen Goguen and niece Lisa Robinson.
Warren will always live on in the hearts of Vanda Robinson, his beloved wife of 52 years, his daughter Tammy Robinson (Colin McKinnon); his daughter-in-law Allison Stewart; his sisters: Linda Goguen, Shirley Hargin and her husband Bob, his sisters-in-law: Brenda Hatt and her husband Gerry, Vicky Christie and her husband Nelson, Cindy Totten and her husband Roy, and Kelly Slocum ; his brother: Gerald Robinson and his wife Bernadette, his brothers-in-law: Roger Slocum and his wife Laura Mae, and Marshall Slocum;
his many nieces and nephews : Dana Morton Doiron, Terry Lynn Morton Robinson and Nancy Bruce, Robbie and Jody Hargin, Nathan Robinson, Anthony, Jason and Sheri Fanjoy, Samantha Christie, Roy Totten, Jr., Terri Myers, Ryan Totten, Trevor Slocum, Meaghan Blythe, Deanna Moffett, Stacy Hatt, Krista, and Brendan Slocum, Jeremy, Michael and Colin Wilson.
There will be no funeral at this time. A graveside service and internment will take place at the Coles Island United Baptist Church Cemetery at a later date.
