Walter « Wally » Kelly
1945-2021
REXTON, NB – It is with great sadness that the
family announces the peaceful passing of Walter « Wally »
Kelly, 76, of Rexton at the Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital on
Wednesday, August 11th, 2021. Born in
Kouchibouguac, Wally was the son of the late Lawrence and Sadie
(Kelly) Kelly. Wally was employed for many years as a heavy equipment
operator and later in life, was a lobster fisherman.
Wally leaves to mourn his loving wife, Alphonsine (Vautour)
Kelly of Rexton; his daughter, Joanne of Moncton; his son Jason (Eden)
of St. Louis; and his beloved granddaughter, Meghan.
Wally will also be sadly missed by his two brothers, Joseph
Eldon (Aline) and Thomas (Helen), both of St. Louis; and by his many
nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Wally was predeceased by an infant son,
Michael and two sisters, Wanita Atkinson and Caroline
Welling.
Following Wally’s wishes, there will be no
visitation or funeral service. If so desired, donations in
Wally’s memory may be made to the N.B. Alzheimer Society
(www.alzheimer.com/nb)
or to a charity of one’s choice.
