Peacefully and surrounded by her family, Wai-Yin Cheung passed away on July 17, 2021 at the age of 69 years.
She was born on June 6, 1952 in Hong Kong, to late father and mother Yau Cheung and Koon-Lan Lai.
She married her longtime friend and love, Sing Tam (age 72), in March of 1975. They moved to Canada and faced the unknown together one day at a time.

Even though a failing heart took her away from this world, her loving heart left a beacon of light for all the world to see. She was a dedicated mother and wife. She treasured her children and grandchildren and embraced every moment she had with them. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the entire staff of the Glen Hospital (MUHC) for their wonderful support and care.
