It is with profound sadness that the family of Wade Dumoulin announces his passing after a very brief but hard fought illness, on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at the age of 52 years.
Wade was born May 3, 1968 in Cochrane, ON to Raymond and Huguette (Dubien) Dumoulin. He was a hard worker and put his all in everything he did, but his passion was working with teens. He made an impact in their lives and he was grateful for each one of them as they made an even bigger impact on his. Wade was first and foremost a dad, Shane was his proudest accomplishment. He enjoyed quiet time at home or relaxing in nature, with those he held close.
Wade is survived and will be greatly missed by his loving partner, Lorrie-Ann MacIntyre of Kingston, ON; son Shane (mother Christine Genier) of Kingston ON; stepdaughter Lindsay MacIntyre of Kingston ON; stepdaughter Courtney MacIntyre of Kingston ON, grandson Kayden MacIntyre of Kingston ON; father Raymond Dumoulin of Cochrane ON, mother Huguette Yule of Lindsay ON; sister Jennifer (Jeffrey) Ketcham of Raleigh NC; stepsister Pauli (JP) Genier of Cochrane ON; stepbrother Barry Beadman of Almonte ON. Wade also leaves behind 9 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his stepmother Darlene Beadman and his stepfather George Yule.
A small celebration of life will be held for close family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
Lastly, the family would like to thank the nurses and his closest friends who were a great source of comfort and support during these final days.
