It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Violet (Thomas) Scott on December 10, 2021 at the Nashwaak Villa in Stanley, New Brunswick. Violet was born May 10,1925, the daughter of Roy and Edith (Dorcas) Thomas. Violet was the last surviving member of her family. Violet was the wife of the late Jack Scott. They had been married 45 years when Jack passed away October 25, 1987.
Violet is survived by her five children, Donna Moss (Billy), Robert (June), Edith Hay (Clifford) Rosemary and Brent (Mary). She was also survived by a special foster son Willie.
Violet was a grandmother to 8 grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and two great-grandsons.
Besides her husband, Violet was predeceased by a son Fred, her parents Roy and Edith Thomas and her two brothers Harry (Faye) Thomas and Scott (Nettie) Thomas.
Special thanks to the Nashwaak Villa staff who made mother feel at home with all their acts of love and kindness. We thank you for your great care of her and the kindness you showed the family these last few days.
There will be no visitation or Church service at this time. An announcement will be made later in the spring of 2022 as to the time and place of a service.
