1930-2021
Vernon Lloyd Millar, son of the late Sterling and Etta
(Ramsay), beloved husband of the late Helen Millar for 67+ years,
passed away peacefully at his home in Kelvin Grove on May 16,
2021. Father of Marilyn (Dennis) Gabriel, Centerville, NS,
Catherine Millar, Charlottetown, Shirley (David) MacLean,
Charlottetown, Wendy Millar (Dave), Lower Sackville NS, and
Betty Jean Millar (Harvey), Kingston ON. Grandfather of Jeff (Roxanna)
Gabriel, Waverly NS and Rev. Dr. Andrew (Krista) Gabriel, Saskatoon
SK. Great grandfather of Adelyn, Mylah and Rayelle
Gabriel.
Brother of the late Erving (late June)(friend Ella Simmons),
late Edgar (Betty), Marion (late Bruce) Profitt, late Gerald (Marion)
Millar and Astrid (late Edwin) Johnson (Windsor
Arsenault).
Brother-in-law of William (late Helen) Cairns, late Winnifred
(Rev. Dr. William McDowell), late Georgina (Douglas) Ferguson, late
Louise (Don) McConaghy, Amy (late Peter) Borys. Also survived by many
nieces, nephews and cousins.
Dad’s wishes to remain at home were able to be
honoured with the great assistance from East Prince Palliative Home
Care Team, his daughters and special friends.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington. Due to Covid
19 restrictions, no public visitation may be held. The
private funeral service at the Kensington United church will be
available to view
online after 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Interment in
the North Bedeque Cemetery. No Flowers
please. If so desired contributions may be
made to The Kensington United Church or the Prince County Hospital
Foundation.
