Hoang, Tom Simon “Tommy”
It is with great sadness to share the tragic loss of Tom Simon Hoang known to us as “Tommy. » Tommy was taken from us unexpectedly and passed away on February 27, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. Born on April 9, 1990, Tommy is survived by his beautiful daughter Amelia, his parents Wanda (John) and Tung, his grandfather Truong (Loan) and his late grandmother Kiem, and his siblings; Katherine, Sophia (Danh), and Simon (Kim).
He will always be lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews; Darrian, Kianna, Nathaniel, Ethan, Ayla, Aveya, and Zayden as well as his extended family of cousins, aunts, and uncles and many close friends.
Tommy touched many hearts with his constant kindness and his involvement with a variety of activities with his loved ones. He worked at A-1 Plumbing and Mechanical in Hamilton since 2016. You would always find him creating lasting memories with his precious daughter Amelia. He loved working out, rock climbing, biking and was an enthusiast for all sports. Tommy will always be remembered by his free spirit, genuine smiles, infectious laughs and his embracing warm hugs. Tommy has been taken from us too soon. He lived his life to the fullest and his motivation was always « Family First. »
A special thank you to the doctors and nurses in the Emergency and ICU East at the Hamilton General Hospital for their tireless efforts in Tommy’s final days.
Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 796 Upper Gage Ave., on Friday, March 5th from 4-8pm. A private family graveside service will be held at Gates of Heaven Cemetery. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, you must RSVP either online or by calling 905-388-4141 and maintain social distancing. Any one in attendance must wear a mask.
