It is with broken hearts that the family of the late THOMAS COADY of Garnish announces his passing. Thomas passed away at the Health Science Center in St. John’s on Thursday, May 14 th , 2020 at the age of 64.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his wife, Ivy of 42 years; son, Christopher Coady (Sheri Forsythe) of New Brunswick; daughters, Melissa Coady (Justin Cluett) of St. John’s, and Patricia Coady (Todd Polly) of Ontario; 4 grandchildren, Faith Cluett, Jack Cluett, Zachary Coady, and Gabriella Coady; mother, Isabella Coady of Marystown; brothers, John Coady (Rowena) of Garnish, Brian Coady (Marjorie) of Winterland, Eugene Coady (Almeda) of Garnish, Allan Coady (Effie King) of Mooring Cove, Wally Coady (Debbie) of AB, Robbie Coady of AB, Dennis Coady (Ashley) of AB, and Gordon Coady (Sherry) of AB; sisters, Mary Thistle (George) of Mooring Cove, and Yvonne Coady of Mooring Cove; plus a large circle of extended family and friends.
Thomas was predeceased by his father, Walter Coady; sister, Diane Coady; and parents-in-law, Otto & Gladys May.
Cremation has taken place.
Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery in Marystown on Friday, September 17th at 2:00pm. For those wishing to attend, you can contact the funeral home to have you name added to the list.
In Thomas’ memory, in-lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Daffodil Place.
